Please join us in congratulating Melissa Johnston on her recent promotion to Senior Vice President of Business Banking. Johnston joined Highland in 2011, and works primarily with entrepreneurs and executives looking to acquire small to medium-sized businesses.

Since joining Highland, Johnston has become one of the bank’s top loan producers, and a key contributor to our success. “She is a true champion of the local business community with a genuine desire to help companies succeed,” said Troy Rosenbrook, President of Highland Bank. “Her familiarity with the customer base, staff and community is invaluable to Highland, and we’re delighted for her success.”

Johnston holds Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from South Dakota State. In addition, she earned a Master of Business Administration Degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.

On a free Saturday afternoon, you’re likely to find her volunteering for a variety of nonprofits or coaching her kids’ many sports teams.
