Assistant Branch Manager – Float

We have an exciting career opportunity for an Assistant Branch Manager who will float between our Bloomington and Woodbury locations!

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Branch Manager and in line with established policies and procedures, is responsible for effective planning, coordination, direction and control of the Universal Banker staff while ensuring/maintaining audit compliance and timely completion of departmental administrative functions. Oversees, participates in and directs the sales and service culture within the Universal Banker areas while continuously monitoring the sales and service efforts of Universal Banker staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform necessary duties in the absence of the Branch Manager.
  • Performs the functions of a Universal Banker 1
  • Maintain, perform and ensure timely completion of all audit requirements necessary for Universal Banker 1, regulatory and security compliance
  • Review Synergy reports as required
  • Promotes the sale and referral of financial products and services, including self-service banking
  • Hires, trains, supervises and motivates Universal Bankers. Responsible for performance management of staff.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling
  • Consult with customers on specific account needs and questions; convey all rates, service charges, and restrictions.
  • Communicate policies and procedures to personnel ensuring consistent implementation
  • Maintain security measures and vault requirements established by management. Ensure personnel follow ID guidelines, protecting customer privacy and reduce exposure to losses
  • Provides ongoing supervision to include goal setting and monitoring of production for sales and service strategies
  • Report drawer differences in accordance with company policy
  • Provide technical expertise to the team. Serve as branch “subject matter expert” on Reg. CC Hold forms, procedures, and paperwork.


  • Three to five years’ related experience and/or training in Teller positions and supervisor capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
