Andrew Dahlen

One of the most tenured leaders at Highland, Andrew Dahlen has contributed significantly to shaping the welcoming culture since joining the organization in 2003. Known for his positive and supportive yet strategic approach, Andrew emphasizes that he continues to “learn from his team as they learn from me.” In addition to being a member of the Senior Leadership Team, he serves on both the Asset Liability and Senior Credit Committees.

Andrew directs Highland Bank’s team of commercial bankers, who work with business clients of all types and sizes, providing financial advice for everything from buying or refinancing buildings, procuring new equipment or obtaining lines of credit for additional cash flow. He believes strongly in the critical role that banking plays in our business communities and overall economy and takes pride in helping clients achieve their financial objectives. Andrew shared, “It is an exciting time at Highland. Expanding our geographic footprint opens up opportunities to help new businesses thrive.”

Andrew has significant banking experience, starting his career in the financial industry in 1988 after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota and holding leadership roles in both consumer and commercial business lines. He values comprehensive service, saying, “I want to make sure that Highland Bank is a one-stop shop for business owners — meeting their lending, deposit and cash management needs for both their businesses and personal lives.” Andrew recharges by spending time outdoors hiking, biking or canoeing. He also enjoys watching classic movies.
