When it comes to commercial banking, Ben Hangge is the commercial banker you need in your corner. With over 20 years in banking, Ben has a deep understanding of many industries and how to creatively structure financing for unique situations.
Ben earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, and Marketing from Bethel University and is currently in his final year of The Stonier Graduate School of Banking at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He started his career as a Credit Analyst and developed the knowledge base needed to succeed in commercial banking. Ben’s drive to learn more helped him advance to a Commercial Banker 12 years ago and more recently a Commercial Banking Manager. As he has grown in his career, he has become a leading expert in merger and acquisition (M&A) financing. He enjoys getting to know each business and is a strong advocate for his clients, delivering strategic financial solutions that meet their unique needs and contribute to their long-term success.
Ben dedicates his continued growth and success to the mentors who have helped him along the way. He pays it forward by serving as a mentor through Bethel University’s BethelBiz mentorship program, offering advice and guidance to the next generation’s leaders through his real-life experience. He has been mentoring juniors and seniors for the last several years. He also serves as an active member and volunteer for several other organizations in the community. Recently, Ben joined Highland Bank’s Asset Liability Committee, contributing his expertise to help guide the bank’s financial management and risk oversight strategies.
Above all, Ben is a family man. When this father of four is not serving his community, you can find him coaching his kids in their various activities and playing an occasional round of golf.
