Step 1: Open an account at Highland Bank. Make an appointment with a banker to apply in person.
Step 2: Switch automatic withdrawals to your new Highland Bank checking or savings account. Use our Change Notice Automatic Withdrawal Form to notify businesses you pay automatically and our Switch Checklist to identify anyone else you may need to notify.
Step 3: Switch automatic deposits to your new Highland Bank account. Use our Change Notice Direct Deposit Form to notify businesses that deposit directly into your current account.
Step 4: Close your current account. Make sure all transactions have cleared your current account. Use our Notice to Close Checking Account Form to notify your current bank of the switch.
