Easy to use at checkout and ATMs, the Highland Bank debit card works wherever contactless, chip, or swipe payments are accepted. Simply tap to pay at contactless terminals, insert your card at chip‑enabled terminals, or swipe as you normally would. At ATMs, simply insert your card and follow the on-screen instructions, remembering to remove your card when prompted. For those who are not eligible or do not require purchase features, Highland also offers an ATM-only card.

ATM Surcharge-Free Networks

For your convenience, Highland Bank has partnered with MoneyPass® to expand our ATM surcharge-free network. In addition to the surcharge-free ATMs at all of our Highland Bank locations, cardholders have access to thousands of ATMs nationwide. Just look for the MoneyPass® logo on the ATM, download the MoneyPass Locator App.

Card Management

Control your ATM/debit card from your mobile device, courtesy of Card Management, which gives you full control of your spending through the Highland Bank mobile banking app.

Features available with Card Management:

• Turn cards on and off when not in use, if temporarily misplaced or lost/stolen.
• Set spending limits, including dollar amount, transaction type, and merchant type.
• Restrict specific merchants from use with your debit card.
• Set geographical limits for card use based on maps or device geolocation.
• Set parental or employer controls.
• Receive instant alerts, including alerts on all or specific transactions and all declined transaction attempts.
